"Adonis" is inspired by a bull that was living at Grey Owl Meadery (he has since been sold and is living in the Drayton Valley area on small family farm). His name was Adonis, hence the name of the painting.

Inspired by the heifers on Crystal's fathers farm. These three were lined up eating "chop" (a grain mixture fed to cows to supplement their diet in the winter months). This was one of the first pieces that started the "cow" series.

Inspired by the heifers on Crystal's fathers farm. After a long winter, the trees were starting to leaf out and the sun was starting to warm our spirits again. Crystal had to get her father to shake a feed bag in the air to get all of these girls to look up! ;)

This beautiful cow was basking in the sun, enjoying a lush green field during Crystal’s family road trip through BC. While most of the cows they passed were confined to barns, these ones roamed freely, relishing the fresh air and open space.
